La Posada de Los Raqueros is located in Troncones, a small, safe and friendly beachfront community 20 miles north of Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico and 40 minutes from the airport.

This beachfront villa at Playa Manzanillo, just north of the village of Troncones has two beautiful spacious oceanview guest suites, cuartos Viejo del Mar and Caballo del Mar, the beachfront bungalow Casita del Pelicano, one of our two 2-story bungalows. Behind el Pelicano, you will find La Casita de la Mariposa and the family-sized Casa Sol y Mar, a 2-story, 2 bedroom/2 bath loft-style beach house.

All the bungalows feature large shuttered and screened windows, spacious private bathrooms and open-air kitchens. La Posada de Los Raqueros has solar panels take care of all of the hot water needs.

All is just a few steps from Playa Manzanillo - the "Jewel" of the region - a wide, sandy beach with a fun surf spot at the south end.

Approximate size: Combined lots are 70 meters on water front and between 70 and 75 meters inland.

Cuarto Caballo and Viejo del Mar

Located in the courtyard of our Posada, our two double-occupancy suites (cuartos), are spacious, colorfully-decorated, comfortable rooms with talavera tiled bathrooms. Each suite sports a king bed, fridge, desk and full bath with a solar-powered hot shower. Outside the suites on the covered terrace sitting area with hammock.

Casita del Pelicano, the oceanfront bungalow

Casita del Pelicano has a large living room with large shuttered and screened windows, comfortable seating and a talavera tiled bathroom with a solar hot water shower. The spacious open-air terrace has a fully-equipped kitchen.

Casita de la Mariposa

Casita de la Mariposa has a large living room with large shuttered and screened windows, comfortable seating and a talavera tiled bathroom with solar-powered hot shower. There is a fully-equipped open-air kitchen with a large terrace complete with a refrigerator and stove. The second level of Mariposa has a king-sized bed with screened windows.

Casa Sol y Mar

Sol y Mar is a newly constructed 2 bedroom/2 bath loft-style home with private patio, with air conditioning, a fully-equipped kitchen and separate talavera tiled bathrooms and shower on each level.
